Intelligent Revision Engine

Daily Revision Coach guide: due topics, weak-area radar, 45-minute sessions, post-mock recovery, active recall, habit reports, offline packs, and Anki export.

What it is#

The Intelligent Revision Engine is the Daily Revision Coach behind Revision Helper. It answers the student question: “What should I revise right now so I do not lose marks later?” It uses deterministic learning science to choose what is due, weak, high-value, or stale, while AI explains the plan and creates active-recall prompts.

Weak-area recovery#

What it isA radar that keeps the riskiest subject and subtopics visible on the Daily Coach home.
Missing piece for students todayStudents often know they are weak somewhere, but they do not know which weakness is most urgent or whether it comes from retention, repeated mistakes, or low practice.
How students benefitThe radar turns vague weakness into a ranked repair target and lets the student start a short micro-cycle immediately.

Step 1Find Weak-Area Radar on the Daily Coach home.

Step 2If no weak area is identified yet, the panel says so and suggests baseline revision.

Step 3When data exists, the radar ranks risky subjects/subtopics using retention, attempts, priority, and activity.

Post-mock recovery#

What it isA recovery workflow that starts after a Full Test and turns wrong answers into revision actions.
Missing piece for students todayMock-test review usually stops at checking the score or reading solutions once, so the same mistake can return in the next test.
How students benefitThe student repairs lost marks while the test memory is fresh through mistake diagnosis, worked-example rebuilding, and recovery notes.

How students benefitThe engine brings useful notes and insights back into revision, while offline packs and Anki exports keep weak topics available outside the app.

Study-coach actions#

These are the action cards the Daily Revision Coach can place inside a study session. They are topic/subtopic study actions, not generic PYQ drills.

Explore Concept MapShows prerequisites and connected ideas first, so the student sees where the subtopic fits before reading details.
Revise Theory with Active RecallAsks the student to recall definitions, formulas, conditions, and traps before opening theory, reducing passive reading.
Use Best ResourceSends the student to the most useful explanation or resource when the engine detects a gap in that layer.
Read Topper's Guide InsightHighlights common mistakes, ready-when markers, and exam-facing judgement points for the subtopic.
Solve Worked ExampleLets the student rebuild the method step-by-step before independent practice, which is ideal for fragile concepts.
Reattempt Incorrect AttemptsAppears only when the subtopic has previous incorrect attempts, helping the student repair mistakes after reviewing the concept.
Apply JEE Notes & TipsTurns strategy tips into a short reflection action, so advice becomes a remembered rule or caution.
Check the NotesBrings existing notes back into revision so formulas, mistakes, and strategies do not remain buried in the library.
Create First Revision NoteAppears when no note exists yet, prompting the student to create one durable recall anchor for the subtopic.
Review Saved Subtopic / Save for MaintenanceKeeps important subtopics in the student's maintenance loop through favourites and saved focus areas.
